Job Description

ANGLICOTECH, LLC is an established, rapidly growing, veteran-owned small business providing Global Logistics and Supply Chain management, systems and analysis, Cybersecurity and NIST SP 800-171 compliance solutioning as well as Enterprise Information Technology Implementation and Services.

We are seeking a

Data Engineer with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment.

Location

Hybrid

This position is located in the National Capital Region .

On-site 2-3 times per week at client site in Pentagon/Navy Yard/Crystal City

Travel

May require up to 25-30% travel to support site visits as needed

Salary

A salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 is available for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

Advana Support

Deliver and provide subject matter expertise over the use of the Advana platform.

Support existing and/or new use cases utilizing the tools and applications within Advana

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, including querying data from various sources, applying transformations, and storing outputs for reporting

Security Clearance

US Citizenship required

Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret

Education and

Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college

3-9 years of progressive, relevant experience supporting IT Development (SDLC – Technical documentation, requirements, design, testing, change management or deployment)

3-9 years of progressive, relevant experience creating/maintaining databases or data and analytics experience (creation of data visualizations, data analytic reports, data cleansing scripts and processes or performing technical data analysis) for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000 employees)

Experience using the Databricks platform and proficient in utilizing its features and architecture

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining interactive data visualizations and dashboards using the Qlik Sense platform

Proficient in SQL and Python (PySpark, Pandas)

Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience with Navy ERP

Experience working with financial/accounting data (specifically in the Federal domain)

Knowledge of the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL)

Knowledge of SAP software

Experience with Federal Government Contracting process

Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work

Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
