Job Description

We are working with a growing manufacturing client in Upstate NY/Broome County NY, They are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer or CNC Programmer

Qualifications

· Hands-on experience programming with ESPRIT CAM software

Experience designing work-holding fixtures and cutting tools to support machining operations
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5

· Experience creating detailed setup sheets for machine operators

G-code and M-code for milling and/or turning operations

· Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining strategies

· Experience with CAD tools (Creo)

Ideal experiemce with AS9100 or ISO 9001certified manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Post-process CNC programs
Design fixtures and work-holding solutions
Select and specify cutting tools, holders, and tooling assemblies

· Interpret customer engineering drawings and apply GD&T requirements

Produce tool lists, offsets, datum references, clamping diagrams, and first-piece inspection checkpoints
Implement opportunities for cycle time reduction, tool life improvement, and process standardization
