This is beyond the month-end close! If you enjoy the financial reporting side of things and technical accounting this Senior position could be for you. This position will own key areas of the close while also getting involved in financial analysis, financial reporting, initiatives and special projects.

Key
Own assigned month-end, quarter-end and year-end finanical reporting activities
Prepare schedules and analyses supporting financial reporting
Research accounting matters and document conclusions in accordance with GAAP
Support tax, invester and external audit requests
Partner with teams across the organization on accounting and financial matters
Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes
Participate in special projects and initiatives tied to continued company growth
Ideal Background
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Strong foundation in month-end close, journal entries and account reconciliations
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
