We are partnering with a company that is hiring a
Finance Manager
to lead budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and systems improvement for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This role is a key leadership position responsible for both strategic financial planning and day-to-day financial operations. Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning
Monitor financial results, cash flow, and monthly budget reporting
Partner with leadership on departmental, program, and event budgets
Prepare reports and materials for board finance leadership
Oversee audit preparation, tax support, and required state and regulatory filings
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, reconciliations, and cash management
Strengthen internal controls, financial procedures, and documentation
Improve and implement financial systems, workflows, and payment tools
Supervise operational support functions, vendor management, and related compliance processes
Partner across teams to support accurate grant reporting and restricted fund tracking
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations leadership
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
Knowledge of GAAP and core accounting practices
Strong attention to detail, organization, discretion, and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple priorities and improve systems in a growing environment
