Job Description

We are seeking a part time WEEKEND Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Inpatient hospital based cardiology consultant.

Schedule: One weekend (Sat, Sun)/ Every 4 weeks

Patient care and good interpersonal skills are most important in our practice*

Pay:

$100.00 - $115.00 per hour

Take initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.

Initiate, document and communicate the plan of care and follows-up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.

Perform daily patient rounds.

Write orders for medications, laboratory work and diagnostic tests. Interprets laboratory and test results.

Confer with attending physicians, midlevel providers, nursing staff and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.

Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State

Current BLS certification, required
