Job Description

Our professional services client is looking for an Asst Controller.

Oversee all corporate accounting activities for multiple divisions.

Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting processes.

Prepare accurate monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

Prepare monthly schedules and supporting documentation for all Balance Sheet accounts.

Oversee the completeness and accuracy of the A/P and A/R cycles.

Provide financial analysis and insight to support management decision-making.

Serve as the primary liaison with outside auditors for the company’s year-end financial audits.

Coordinate with tax professionals regarding corporate federal and state tax filings.

Provide oversight of payroll processing and multi-state payroll tax requirements.

Monitor cash flow and ensure appropriate availability of funds for Company operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Experience with financial audits, tax coordination, and financial analysis.
