About the Role

Domain- Software & Product, Controls Engineering

Description: As a Controls Engineer you will participate in electrical control design and commissioning. Utilize standards in electrical controls design, PLC programming and commissioning developed by Kuecker Pulse Integration. Comfortable with hands-on design and product development, supporting customers and executing a business strategy. Thrive in fast-paced uncertain environments

Responsibilities

Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE and be safety first oriented

Follow Standards set forth by Kuecker Pulse Integration

Understand project schedules and scope of work

Understand project requirements, specifications, and equipment functionality

Contribute to the team and be capable of reacting to change

Communicate well and often with Project Managers and/or Controls Manager

Complete defined tests from Kuecker Pulse Integration standard testing documents and check sheets

Communicate well with customers during testing processes

Ensure quality of field installations

All other tasks as directed by management

Qualifications

B.S. Electrical Engineering or Trade School equivalent in PLC/Controls Engineering or Combination of Education and Experience equivalent.

Required Skills

Capable of managing stressful situations and maintain strong analytical, verbal and written communication

1-2 Years controls field installation/commissioning

Experience in following and executing multiple tasks, ability to keep track of multiple tasks and complete them all with updates and reports communicated where appropriate

Knowledge of designing/commissioning/troubleshooting controls systems (i.e. Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Square D, etc.) is a plus

Knowledge of industrial controls networks (i.e. Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) is a plus
