Make a meaningful impact by supporting a young learner with autism in a supportive K-1 classroom environment. We are searching for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavioral interventions in a school-based contract role. This position is located in the Williamstown, MA area and offers a meaningful opportunity to work closely with educational teams and families to foster positive outcomes. Ideal candidates bring clinical expertise, compassion, and patience to help shape appropriate behaviors and create a safe, encouraging learning space. Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting Strong skills in implementing ABA-based behavior intervention plans Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and parents Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with autism Key Responsibilities: Deliver daily behavioral interventions for an elementary student in the K-1 classroom Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure strategies are effectively integrated into classroom routines Collect and document data on student progress and behavioral targets Proactively communicate successes and challenges to the clinical supervisor and education team Assist with the development and modification of individualized behavior management plans as needed Benefits and Perks: Contract assignment with consistent hours (32.5 hours per week) Opportunity to make a real difference in a student's educational experience Collaborative and welcoming school community
