Pay Range: $85 - $90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver instrumentation design for projects, ensuring all deliverables are produced on time and within budget.
Serve as the lead for instrument design, interfacing with project execution teams.
Generate deliverables such as instrument index, instrument location layouts, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, analyzer panel design, and more.
Conduct 3D modeling of equipment using
SmartPlant 3D (SP3D)
.
Attend model reviews and support the development of instrument design strategies.
Review and interpret vendor documents, collaborating with other disciplines to resolve design issues.
Implement quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Key Requirements and Technology
5+ years
of experience in instrumentation design within a relevant industry.
Knowledge of
Smart Plant 3D (SP3D)
and experience with
Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
.
An Engineering Degree or a Diploma in instrumentation.
Familiarity with generating all instrumentation design deliverables, including wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and layouts.
Ability to interface effectively with other disciplines for finalizing cable layouts and instrument design deliverables.
Knowledge of global engineering standards and plant layouts.
