Preferred Qualifications:
Current state licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt individualized therapy plans for diverse student populations Commitment to fostering growth and progress for children of all backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as required Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to each child's needs Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to ensure student progress Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines Contribute actively to IEP meetings, sharing professional insights and recommendations Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and support for students in both individual and group settings Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional developments in the speech-language field
