Job Description

We are seeking an experienced VMware Systems Administrator to support a secure enterprise virtualization environment at NDU.

Administer and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments, including HA, DRS, vMotion, storage, and networking

Perform ESXi and vCenter patching and upgrades using Lifecycle Manager

Provision and manage virtual machines, templates, and capacity planning

Implement and maintain DISA STIG hardening and compliance for ESXi, vCenter, and VMs

Support backup, replication, and disaster recovery operations

Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/PowerCLI

Troubleshoot and coordinate with Windows Server and application teams

5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Engineering, with hands-on VMware experience

Strong knowledge of vSphere/ESXi/vCenter administration

Active Secret clearance

VMware VCP-DCV or VCAP-DCV

Experience in a DoD or federal environment

Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance

Certification: CompTIA Security+ and Computing Certification
