Job Description

Senior Accountant

Charlotte, NC

Perform hands-on general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Assist with sales and use tax compliance, including reconciliations, filings, and reporting.

Provide billing support and help resolve invoicing discrepancies.

Assist with financial statement preparation, account analysis, and supporting schedules.

Support external audits and provide requested documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day accounting operations.

Take on additional responsibilities over time, with the opportunity to grow into an Assistant Controller or Controller role.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations.

Public accounting or consulting experience is a plus; candidates transitioning directly from public accounting are encouraged to apply.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
