Job Description

Purpose:

We are seeking committed and legally qualified professional to join our Legal Department as Field Legal Officer. The purpose of this role is to play a critical part in supporting the Bank’s Business & Recovery Team by providing legal assistance in field operations, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and representing the Bank in courts, police stations and other law enforcement authorities across various districts of Punjab.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum Qualification: LLB from an HEC recognized University.

Professional Status: Must be a registered Advocate with a valid license to practice in Punjab.
Experience: 1–3 years of legal practice preferred, particularly in litigation or banking/recovery matters (fresh graduates with strong interest may also apply).
Travel Requirement: Willing to travel extensively within rural areas of assigned regions of Punjab province.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle field situations diplomatically and legally.

Placement Region: Lahore (Punjab).

Key responsibilities:

Provide complete legal support to the Bank's Recovery and Business Collections Team during field recovery operations, including accompanying Recovery Field Officers to police stations, courts and law enforcement offices across assigned districts.
Liaise with local law enforcement agencies to facilitate legal action against defaulters or non-compliant borrowers.
Draft and file legal documents, complaints, applications, and assist in the preparation of case files for litigation.
Attend court hearings, where required, on behalf of the Bank.
Ensure legal compliance during all recovery activities and field visits.
Maintain proper documentation and reports related to legal field activity.
