5G Benefits is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven

Personal Health Insurance Advisor

to join our growing team. This position focuses primarily on Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace plans and individual health insurance solutions.

The Personal Health Insurance Advisor will be responsible for managing and servicing an established book of existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, helping individuals and families navigate their health insurance options, understand their coverage, and make informed decisions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about providing exceptional client service while contributing to the continued growth of our organization.

Our ideal candidate lives in Fond du Lac or within a reasonable driving distance, as this role is in-person.

Responsibilities

Include

Manage and maintain an assigned book of existing individual health insurance clients.

Build strong, long-term relationships by providing proactive communication, personalized guidance, and exceptional service.

Conduct annual policy reviews and assist clients with renewals, coverage changes, and plan comparisons.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions regarding coverage, benefits, enrollment, and policy changes.

Review clients' current coverage and recommend solutions based on their healthcare needs and financial circumstances.

Proactively communicate important enrollment deadlines, regulatory updates, and changes that may impact clients.

Identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and increase retention.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and communication history.

Actively grow the assigned book of business through new client acquisition, referrals, networking, and relationship development.

Identify opportunities to introduce existing and prospective clients to additional services offered through the 5G Benefits family of services.

Stay informed of ACA regulations, Marketplace requirements, carrier updates, and industry developments.

Maintain required insurance licensing, certifications, and carrier appointments.

Role Requirements

Active Wisconsin health insurance license

Previous experience in individual health insurance, ACA Marketplace plans, or a related insurance field.

Familiarity with ACA enrollment processes, premium tax credits, and Marketplace requirements.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

Ability to explain complex insurance information in a clear and approachable manner.

Benefits & Compensation

Base pay of $55-70k, based on experience

Bonus opportunities, in addition to base pay
