Job Description

Director of Business Development – Fintech & Lending Partnerships

About Lendavo:

Lendavo

is transforming what happens after a business is declined for financing. Our Borrower Development Platform helps lenders and capital providers turn declined applicants into future qualified borrowers—giving businesses a clear path to improve their Funding Readiness, build business credit, and access capital while helping our partners create additional value from applicants they otherwise lose.

We are expanding our lender and fintech partnerships and are looking for an experienced

Director of Business Development

who already knows the business lending ecosystem and has the relationships to help us accelerate growth.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a well-connected business development executive with existing relationships in business lending, fintech, commercial finance, banking, or alternative finance.

Your primary responsibility will be developing strategic partnerships with lenders and capital providers that can integrate Lendavo into their decline and borrower-development process. You'll be expected to leverage your existing network, proactively develop new relationships, and create new partnership opportunities. But you won't be starting from scratch.

Lendavo has an established lead-generation and business development infrastructure that produces warm opportunities, along with marketing, operational, and executive support to help move opportunities from initial conversation through partnership launch. We're providing the engine—but we're looking for someone who knows how to step on the gas.

What You'll Do

Identify and develop partnerships with business lenders, fintechs, banks, alternative finance companies, ISOs, and other capital providers.
Leverage your existing industry network to open doors and accelerate conversations.
Generate new opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and industry relationships.
Work warm opportunities generated through Lendavo's existing lead-generation efforts.
Build relationships with executives and key decision-makers at lending organizations.
Present Lendavo's borrower-development and decline-monetization solution.
Manage opportunities from initial conversation through partnership launch.
Attend industry conferences and networking events to expand relationships and generate opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of strategic partnerships.

· Work alongside Lendavo's executive, marketing, and support teams to move opportunities forward.

Who We're Looking For

Industry experience and relationships are extremely important for this role.

The ideal candidate has

5+ years of business development, partnerships, or sales experience within fintech, business lending, commercial finance, banking, or alternative finance.
An established network of relationships with lenders, fintech companies, capital providers, and industry executives.
A demonstrated ability to originate and close strategic B2B partnerships.

· Experience selling or developing partnerships at the executive level.

A strong understanding of the small-business lending ecosystem.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to independently generate opportunities.
A track record of producing measurable business development results.

Why Lendavo?

Millions of businesses seek capital every year, yet lenders decline a significant portion of the applicants they attract. Traditionally, that decline ends the relationship. Lendavo is building a different model.

We help turn a decline into development by giving businesses the technology, tools, and guidance to become better-qualified borrowers while enabling lenders and partners to maintain the relationship and create additional value from applicants they otherwise lose.

You'll join Lendavo at an important stage of growth with the technology, lead flow, marketing resources, and support infrastructure already in place to help you succeed.

Direction for Applying

When applying, tell us about your experience within the business lending or fintech industry and the types of lenders, capital providers, fintech companies, or financial institutions you've worked with.

We're especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate an existing industry network and a track record of turning relationships into successful partnerships. This version keeps the support infrastructure prominent without giving it its own repetitive section. It also gets to the core of the opportunity much faster, which I think will work better on LinkedIn.

Compensation

Pay: $90,000.00 per year base salary + performance-based compensation and bonuses.

-Base compensation is negotiable for an exceptional candidate with significant industry experience, relationships, and a proven track record.

In addition to base salary, this role offers performance-based earning opportunities tied to results and successful partnership development, creating meaningful upside for high performers.
