While the frontend is what users see, the backend is the engine that drives everything. We are looking for a Backend Developer who is obsessed with building robust, scalable, and secure server-side logic. At FAAZ TECH, our backend engineers tackle complex data architecture challenges, ensuring that our applications are fast, reliable, and capable of handling heavy loads without breaking a sweat.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
Architect and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL) and implement caching strategies using Redis.
Build and maintain secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs that serve as the backbone for web and mobile clients.
Implement robust security and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive user information.
Integrate third-party services and payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) with a focus on reliability and error handling.
Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and ensure seamless data integration.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js (Express/NestJS) or similar frameworks.
Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases when appropriate.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization for consistent development and deployment environments.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a "test-driven" approach to writing server-side code.
