Established and global manufacturing/distribution company is looking to add a

Senior Accountant

to its team in Wood Dale, IL. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is a broad-based Sr. Accountant role with exposure well beyond traditional GL responsibilities.

Senior Accountant Snapshot

Month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Inventory accounting and related reserves

Parent company financial reporting

Fixed assets, intercompany accounting and commission calculations

Cash forecasting and management reporting

Internal controls, audit support and process improvement

Oversight/support of AP and AR activities

Background

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years of progressive accounting experience

Savvy with MS Excel and ERP systems

Inventory accounting experience a plus
