Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Solutions Architect

to design and lead the development of scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications within a large-scale enterprise healthcare environment.

This role is responsible for defining architecture, guiding engineering teams, and driving modernization initiatives by transforming legacy systems into microservices-based, cloud-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, and AWS, along with a proven track record of delivering high-performance enterprise applications.

Key

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures using microservices principles

Lead modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to distributed architectures

Define and develop RESTful APIs and service communication patterns

Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to development teams

Ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and security

Design data flow and integration patterns across multiple systems

Implement best practices for observability, logging, and monitoring

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, and product stakeholders

Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to standards and best practices

Support cloud infrastructure design and deployment strategies

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in software development and architecture

Strong proficiency in Java (11 or higher) and Spring Boot

Proven experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, IAM, compute services)

Experience designing and building

RESTful APIs

Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Strong understanding of system scalability, performance, and fault tolerance

Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred

Qualifications

Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka or similar messaging systems)

Exposure to enterprise integration patterns

Experience in healthcare or regulated environments

Familiarity with security standards such as HIPAA or NIST

Knowledge of distributed caching technologies

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
