Fuze HR Solutions is hiring an experienced
Quality CMM Inspector & Programmer/Operator
to join an established aerospace and defense manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with aerospace inspection experience who is skilled in CMM programming, precision measurement, GD&T, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
About the Company
Our client is a long-established aerospace and defense manufacturer specializing in precision machining, fabrication, stamping, and assembly.
With a strong history in the industry and a growing pipeline of long-term contracts, this is an opportunity to join a stable and experienced manufacturing team.
Program and operate CMM equipment using CMM Manager software
Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components
Perform precision measurements using CMMs, optical comparators, gauges, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment
Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and AS9102 Form 3 documentation
Interpret aerospace blueprints, 2D drawings, 3D models, specifications, and engineering documentation
Review drawings, specifications, certificates, and revision levels
Create and review bubble drawings, inspection sheets, and other quality documentation
Create Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
Document and communicate non-conformances, adjustments, and required rework
Verify CNC programming models and derivative drawings
Ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications
Strong understanding of GD&T
Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints and technical drawings
Working knowledge of
AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, and ITAR
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Work in both a machine shop and office environment
Stand, sit, and bend for extended periods
Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Maintain excellent attendance and time management
Work independently while meeting quality and production deadlines
Signing Bonus:
Eligible new hires receive an 8% signing bonus, paid in two installments: 4% with the first paycheck and an additional 4% after six months of employment.
