Job Description

Customer Service Representative This position will be located in our Hermosillo, Son branch. Under close supervision, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing calls.

JOB DUTIES

Responds to basic customer inquiries about products, provides quotes, and handles order entry. Places customer orders via phone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in sales. Influences profitability by negotiating the selling price and purchase price within certain parameters. May adjust non-contract customer prices to meet their demands based on competition while maximizing profits for Motion Industries. Builds relationships with customers for repeat business by engaging with the client and managing process improvements. Places orders for items to ensure adequate inventory levels for customers. May place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 USD per line and $10,000 USD per purchase order. Responsible for sourcing products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory. Determines the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders. Partners with account representatives to ensure customer satisfaction. Accelerates pending orders. May pull inventory and prepare the order for shipment to the customer. May handle customer returns. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

AND

EXPERIENCE

College degree required. Industry experience preferred. Bilingual: Spanish/English. Intermediate/advanced English level (ability to communicate fluently in technical conversations).

KNOWLEDGE

AND SKILLS

Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required. Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening. Ability to multitask and time management skills required. Moderate computer skills including information processing, internal and external email communication, use of business systems, and internet product search capabilities. Product knowledge preferred.
