1. Process Development & New Product Introduction
Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Development Engineers, and the Operations Manager to support new product development, manufacturing transitions, process planning, in-process specifications, equipment settings, and production readiness.
2. Process Optimization & Yield Improvement
Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes for yield, efficiency, energy consumption, and ease of operation. Calculate product yields across process stages, maintain historical performance data, and implement continuous improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
3. Quality Assurance & Statistical Process Control
Support the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability analysis, product testing, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and non-conformance management. Ensure products meet approved specifications and that testing, labeling, packaging, storage, and traceability requirements are followed.
4. Equipment & Technical Resource Management
Identify departmental equipment needs, assist in selecting laboratory instruments, process equipment, software, and hardware, and establish calibration and equipment-handling requirements. Review equipment performance and ensure manufacturing processes operate effectively and consistently.
5. Documentation, Compliance & Cross-Functional Coordination
Develop, review, and maintain process plans, Level 3 and Level 4 documentation, ISO 9001 quality records, revision logs, and product traceability procedures. Coordinate with operations, engineering, manufacturing personnel, and customers as required to ensure specification compliance, effective process reviews, and proper disposition of non-conforming products.
