Manufacturing Cost Accountant

You'll play an important role in the company's financial operations while partnering with Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments to help drive smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage

standard costing, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory valuation

Analyze product costs, margins, and manufacturing variances to identify opportunities for improvement

Partner with Engineering and Purchasing on new product costing and cost updates

Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations, journal entries, and cost accounting reports

Support pricing decisions through cost analysis and profitability reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve costing accuracy and financial visibility

✅ Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of cost accounting experience

in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Understanding of

standard costing, inventory accounting, COGS, and variance analysis

Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Someone who enjoys collaborating with others and understanding how the business operates
