Senior Accounting Manager – Direct Hire

Las Vegas, Nevada

Hybrid once up and trained

Will be responsible for the daily accounting activities and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process

Responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements for multiple entities and locations

Responsible for overseeing the general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Prepare accruals, prepaids, fixed asset, depreciation, and payroll-related entries

Manage bank and credit card reconciliations and monitor cash activity

Analyze financial results and research budget and prior-period variances

Work closely with operations on sales, labor, inventory, cost of goods sold, and operating expense reporting

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting

Support new locations and other growth-related accounting activities

Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other outside partners

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

7+ years of progressive accounting experience along with 2+ years of supervisory or accounting management experience

Strong general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliation, and financial reporting experience

Restaurant, hospitality, food and beverage, or similar multi-unit industry experience required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication skills
