Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on Device Shop Leader to oversee warehouse, logistics, inventory, and repair operations for technical equipment used at events and permanent installations nationwide.

This role is ideal for someone who combines warehouse/logistics leadership with strong electrical, mechanical, and equipment-repair experience. You’ll lead technicians and manage daily operations while remaining hands-on with troubleshooting and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day warehouse and repair-shop operations.

Supervise and support technicians and manage workflow and priorities.

Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, equipment returns, and logistics.

Coordinate equipment maintenance, testing, refurbishment, and repairs.

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.

Perform hands-on repairs using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.

Ensure equipment is tested and ready for deployment.

Maintain tools, spare parts, equipment, and other inventory.

Coordinate service calls and support permanent equipment installations.

Maintain SOPs and a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, inventory, production, or related operations experience.

Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.

Electrical/electronics repair experience required.

Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.

Strong shipping, receiving, inventory, and organizational skills.

Forklift experience preferred.

Ability to occasionally travel and support evening/weekend events.
