An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to support on-site construction operations across a major utility-scale solar development in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project comprises approximately 300MW across two phases. We're looking for a hands-on construction professional with direct solar site experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to build effective relationships with the client and project teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to project delivery, coordinating daily site activities and ensuring work progresses in line with the construction schedule.
Key
Oversee daily on-site construction activities and coordinate the execution of planned work.
Attend daily POD meetings and align site teams on priorities, progress and activities.
Maintain regular communication with the client, providing updates and addressing day-to-day queries.
Monitor progress against the project schedule and identify potential delays or operational issues.
Coordinate site personnel and subcontractors to support efficient project delivery.
Maintain visibility of daily site operations, ensuring activities remain organised and aligned with project requirements.
Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to communicate progress, escalate issues and resolve challenges.
Maintain accurate project documentation and use relevant systems to support reporting and coordination.
Promote a professional, collaborative and safety-conscious working environment.
Desired Experience & Skills
Previous hands-on experience managing construction activities on utility-scale solar projects.
Experience in a Site Project Manager, Site Manager, Site Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and site teams.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise daily activities and maintain progress against schedules.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Procore is beneficial.
Location & Working Arrangement
This is an on-site position based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Candidates should be comfortable working on site and supporting daily construction operations.
