Job Description

Manage the month end close; review monthly reconciliations and journal entries; and prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements

Ensure the accounting department is GAAP compliant and SOX documentation

Manage fixed asset accounting

Serve as the main point of contact for the external auditors

Responsible for cash flow analysis; manage the payroll function; inventory accounting; and transactional accounting (a/p and cash apps)

Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required

CPA or MBA is desired

6+ years of month end close experience in the manufacturing or defense & space manufacturing industry

Prior experience heading up the month end function at a publicly traded company is required

Prior experience with Sage, Deltek, NetSuite, or any large ERP system is required.

Prior supervisory skills and strong attention to detail is required.
