Active Illinois teaching license and appropriate certification for visually impaired instruction CTE endorsement required Experience working in a school-based setting with visually impaired students Proficiency in conducting functional vision and media assessments Skilled in effective classroom observation and collaborative evaluation processes Ready for a 30-minute interview Must be available for onsite work (not virtual/VOCO) Core Responsibilities: Deliver a thorough functional vision assessment for students Perform detailed media assessments to help inform educational planning Observe students in the classroom to gather essential data for evaluation Provide expert recommendations based on assessment findings and observations Work alongside educators and team members to ensure students receive appropriate support
