Bring your eye for detail. Build your skills with us.

At GatorStep, we help people bring their personal style to the spaces where they spend their time. Behind every custom project is a team that cares about getting the details right—and we’re looking for a Production Designer to join us.

If you enjoy working in Adobe Illustrator, appreciate the satisfaction of precise design work, and like being part of a supportive team, we’d love to meet you. You’ll put your vector design skills to work while learning the specialized tools and processes that turn artwork into production-ready designs.

What You Will Do ·

Create and modify vector artwork to prepare designs for production.

Work with templates, technical specifications, and precise measurements to ensure an accurate fit.
Learn and use our proprietary 2D rendering platform.
Collaborate with teammates to keep projects accurate, consistent, and on schedule.
Adapt to different software platforms and workflows as projects require.
Check your work carefully and maintain quality through every stage of the design process.

What You Will Bring ·

Experience with vector-based design software, particularly Adobe Illustrator.

A strong eye for detail and pride in producing accurate work.
Comfort working with fractional measurements and technical specifications.
The ability to stay organized and maintain accuracy through repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn new software and technical processes.

Helpful experience includes:

Vector drawing and hands-on use of Illustrator’s Shape Builder Tool, Pen Tool, and blending modes, plus basic technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

A degree is not required.

We value relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and a willingness to grow.

A Team You Can Grow With Our people make GatorStep what it is. Every role contributes to the finished product, and we value teammates who show up for one another, share what they know, and take pride in a job well done.

You’ll fit in well here if you’re dependable, adaptable, comfortable asking questions, and ready to contribute to a hardworking, collaborative team.
