Analyze financial results, identify trends, and variances
Take ownership of the inventory accounting process. Oversee inventory and costing accounting activities, including valuation, reserves, COGS, and adjustments. Reconcile inventory subledgers, investigate discrepancies, and support cycle counts
Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to ensure transactions are accurately coded and classified, supporting reliable financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Proactively identify and lead improvement efforts to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls. Prepare and maintain documentation of accounting processes, reconciliations, account analyses, key judgments, and internal control activities to support financial reporting, audit requirements, and process consistency
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Strong understanding of inventory accounting, valuation, reserve methodologies, and inventory costing principles
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and data analysis
Self-directed, comfortable seeking out answers, asking questions and collaborating across different teams.
PREFERRED
CPA license
Comfortable in a private equity–backed, fast-paced environment.
