Job Description

The IT Supervisor will oversee daily IT operations and technical support for the assigned campus/service area. This position will supervise IT support staff, manage Help Desk performance and escalations, coordinate with infrastructure teams, and ensure users receive timely, professional technical support.

This role is ideal for a hands-on IT leader who combines technical troubleshooting experience with strong people management and customer service skills.

Key

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support IT Help Desk and technical support staff, including assigning work and monitoring team performance.

Oversee daily IT support operations, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved accurately and within established SLAs.

Review Help Desk tickets for quality, documentation, response time, and customer communication.

Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and coordinate with Systems Administrators, Network Administrators, and other IT teams when additional support is required.

Build a strong customer-service culture and ensure users receive responsive and professional IT support.

Provide ongoing technical guidance, training, and coaching to IT support team members.

Manage and track hardware and software assets according to organizational standards.

Required

Qualifications

Experience in IT support, Help Desk, desktop support, or IT operations.

Previous experience supervising or leading technical support personnel.

Strong understanding of Help Desk ticketing, incident management, troubleshooting, escalation, and SLA-driven support.

Working knowledge of end-user hardware, software, networking, and general IT infrastructure.

Experience managing or coordinating IT projects and technology deployments.

Experience with hardware/software asset management and change management.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical leadership.
