IT Field Support Specialist | Permanent | No Sponsorship AvailableABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a multi-location organization with an in-person IT support need across multiple sites. This is an entry-level, hands-on field support role supporting end users, hardware, software, and basic network issues. Work is primarily on-site. Local travel to multiple locations is required. Mileage reimbursement is available. BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Compensation: Up to $60,000 per year PTO: PTO available (starts day 1) Retirement: 401(k) with company match Medical: Health, vision, and dental plans available for individuals and families RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST Provide responsive IT support for hardware, software, and basic network issues across corporate and site locations. Install, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and standard business applications. Assist with deploying and maintaining networking components and connectivity as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues and general IT requests. Support security tooling and help ensure endpoint and software security updates are applied. Train and support staff on newly installed systems, applications, and processes. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST Experience troubleshooting Windows PCs, common business applications, and basic networking concepts. Comfort installing and configuring hardware, operating systems, and standard software. Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain solutions and train non-technical users. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a customer-service mindset. Ability to work independently while partnering closely with an IT leader on priorities and projects. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to multiple sites.
