Payroll Operations Supervisor
San Diego, CA | Hybrid | $105,000–$115,000
We are seeking an experienced
Payroll Operations Supervisor
to join a well-established organization in the San Diego area. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who has prior experience
directly supervising a payroll team
and is comfortable overseeing payroll operations in a large-scale environment.
You’ll join a collaborative, supportive team and work in a great office environment while having the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.
Supervise, develop, and provide day-to-day support to payroll team members
Oversee payroll processing to help ensure accuracy and timely completion
Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and assist with resolving payroll issues
Support payroll compliance and established policies and procedures
Partner closely with HR, Accounting, and other internal departments
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and workflows
Provide hands-on payroll support as needed
Experience working with
large-scale or high-volume payroll is highly preferred
Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively lead a team while remaining involved in day-to-day operations
Compensation &
Base salary: $105,000–$115,000 annually
Hybrid work schedule with
regular in-office attendance required
