The YMCA of the Palm Beaches is expanding its philanthropy team and seeking a dynamic and accomplished fundraising leader to serve as our Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Reporting directly to the President & CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Philanthropy Officer will lead the YMCA's philanthropic strategy in alignment with the organization’s strategic initiatives and priorities. High-level competencies should include the following:
Proven strength in developing, leading, and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies
Success raising seven figure gifts (eight figure gifts a plus)
Planned giving expertise
Track record of taking principal and major donors from identification through solicitation
Creative, personal, and effective stewardship strategies for principal and major donors
Demonstrated success securing major and principal gifts
Proven experience leading comprehensive fundraising initiatives and capital campaigns
Exceptional relationship-building skills with donors, volunteers, board members, and community leaders
salary: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
