Grant Accountant – Nonprofit Social Services (NYC)
About Our Client
Our client, a NYC-based nonprofit social services organization focused on government-funded community programs, is seeking a Grant Accountant to join their team in the NYC office.
Position highlights
$60k-$75k salary
Generous time off, including multiple long weekends around summer holidays, plus a 403(b) with a strong employer match
Hybrid schedule with a standard office-hours day and a fully in-office start while you get up to speed
Key
Own a portfolio of roughly 10 grants and program budgets
Partner with program teams to keep spending in line with budgets and program needs
Work directly with city agencies and funders to resolve invoicing and budget questions
Support budgeting, forecasting and grant tracking
Join internal and external meetings about funding and program support
Help keep funding moving across different programs and sources
Background working with NYC government funding agencies
Strong communicator who works well cross-functionally with program teams
