Role Description

The Senior Quantity Surveyor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad. The individual in this role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimating project costs, and monitoring budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include cost planning, cost reporting, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure financial control and value for money. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also track variations, manage cost-related documentation, and contribute to contract administration and financial risk assessments. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support timely, cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure projects remain within approved budgets.

Candidates should possess skills in BOQ preparation and Cost Planning to support accurate estimates and resource allocation.

Candidates should possess skills in Cost Reporting to provide clear, timely financial updates and forecasts to project stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Several years of experience in quantity surveying within construction or real estate development, preferably at a senior level.

Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Proficiency with relevant quantity surveying and MS Office software tools.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
