Inpatient and outpatient Transfusion Medicine Service unit supporting renal, pulmonary, and BMT programs,

Treats both adult and pediatric patient populations,

Performs therapeutic apheresis procedures including plasma exchange, red blood cell exchange, and HPC stem cell collections,

Primarily accesses ports, with some peripheral access required,

Utilizes Optia as the primary equipment,

Day shift schedule, 7a-330p, 40 hours per week,
-
On-call required every 4th weekend, including 1 night during the weekend,

Clinic is closed on weekends and holidays, with on-call nurse called in for emergent cases, Job Requirements

Active RN license (NC or compact) required,

BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required,
· Minimum one year of nursing experience required,

Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required,
· BSN or MSN preferred,

Strong skills in prioritizing and planning patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discharge planning, Additional Information
