A pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to join their team, providing mail order pharmacy services. This role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established pharmacy system and support patients with their prescription needs efficiently.
Decatur, GA Schedule: Per Diem (flexible hours)
Responsibilities:
Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications for mail order patients.
Utilize Pioneer Rx software to process prescriptions and manage patient information.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure timely and safe medication delivery.
Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medication usage and safety.
Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Current pharmacist license (Texas license is required; please be prepared to provide a copy).
Experience working as a Staff Pharmacist, preferably with mail order prescription processing.
Proficiency with electronic pharmacy management systems, preferably Pioneer Rx.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
Full technical support available on site to assist with pharmacy operations.
This position is per diem, providing schedule flexibility to fit your availability.
