The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and provide care for patients in a medical-surgical environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly. Educate patients and their families regarding health issues and care plans. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care. QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience is required. Active nursing license in Mississippi or a compact license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Preferred: 5+ years of nursing experience. Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Work Schedule This position requires working shifts in a 4x12 schedule one week (48 hours) followed by a 3x12 schedule (36 hours). Specific shift pattern includes: 4x12: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 3x12: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
