The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, while ensuring that items are cleared in a timely manner
Prepare daily and monthly journal entries
Perform month-end expense analysis, loan fee and charge-off reports
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Prepare monthly regulatory reports
Assist with coding and processing accounts payable
Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
Participate in process improvements and internal control enhancements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
