Our client, a respected and growing tax, accounting, and consulting firm, is seeking a Tax Accountant who enjoys meaningful client interaction, complex tax work, and the flexibility of a collaborative mid-sized firm.

The team works with individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates across various industries, combining technical expertise with personalized service and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, entities, trusts, estates, and gifts

Analyze tax positions to reduce liabilities and identify planning opportunities

Communicate directly with clients to address tax questions and provide strategic insight

Perform general accounting duties to support tax prep, including trial balances and journal entries

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Minimum of 2 years public accounting experience

Familiarity with tax software (SurePrep, GoSystem, GFR preferred)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred
