4-6 month contracting role with possible conversion to perm. Multi billion dollar firm.
Support
month-end close
activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of revenue, costs, and gross margins.
Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
Assist with
budget and forecast preparation
, consolidation, and reporting of revenue and gross margin.
Utilize
advanced Excel
skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and financial modeling, to develop and maintain reporting tools.
Analyze sales performance, product costs, gross margin trends, and period-over-period variances.
Extract, reconcile, and validate financial data from ERP and reporting systems, including Oracle EPM.
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support management decisions, audits, and other business requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automate recurring processes, and strengthen financial controls.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
Preferred experience with ERP systems, Power BI, budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration.
