Our client is seeking a

Software Quality Assurance Engineer

to join a team developing and testing innovative software solutions that support cutting-edge photofinishing products. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with software developers, product owners, and fellow QA professionals to ensure exceptional product quality through both manual and automated testing. Ideal candidates are passionate about software quality and dedicated to being the voice of the customer throughout the development lifecycle.

Pay rate: 45-$50/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Key

Responsibilities

Analyze user stories and software requirements, providing feedback on system-wide impacts and end-user experience.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using proprietary testing frameworks.

Perform exploratory testing on complex user workflows.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Develop testing estimates for user stories and project deliverables.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test strategies covering Web UI, Mobile UI, APIs, and databases.

Develop and execute detailed test cases for all defined use cases.

Perform manual and automated testing and document test results.

Identify, document, and communicate software defects with detailed troubleshooting analysis.

Execute all phases of testing, including Functional, Integration, Regression, and Post-Release testing.

Provide regular updates regarding testing progress, risks, and quality concerns.

Serve as a champion for quality and advocate for continuous improvement.

Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Experience collaborating closely with software developers and Agile development teams.

Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential issues across complex systems.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience testing across multiple application layers, including web, mobile, APIs, and databases.

Passion for software quality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
