Geneva – Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician
Geneva, IL | Fully Integrated Plant
Pay:
$35 – $45/hr + shift differential + incentive pay
Weekly pay
Eligible for annual wage increases and additional increases based on performance
With overtime, average annual earnings can exceed $85,000
2nd: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Job
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issues
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities
Adjust and install machinery, power, controls, and utilities
Use hand tools and machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, drill press, welder, etc.)
Create and document work orders, track parts, and log maintenance data
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all PPE requirements
Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specs
Must supply own tools
High school diploma or equivalent required
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime/weekends as needed
About the Plant
The Geneva, IL plant has been operating since 1960 and employs more than 265 people. As a fully integrated facility, we manufacture and decorate batteries for the automotive and marine industries. We operate six days per week and are proud to support our community through organizations like The Salvation Army.
