Outreach & Employer Relations Representative – Temporary

Location

Mahwah, NJ

Pay:

$25-$30 per hour

Schedule:

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

Assignment:

Approximately 10 weeks

On-site position

We are seeking a high-energy, personable professional for a temporary Outreach & Employer Relations opportunity in Mahwah, NJ. This is a phone-heavy position ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships, and helping connect individuals with employment opportunities.

Key

Responsibilities

Make a high volume of outbound calls to individuals seeking employment opportunities

Contact employers to identify current openings and hiring needs

Help match qualified individuals with available positions based on experience, skills, and interests

Discuss employment opportunities and gather feedback

Re-engage existing employer contacts and develop additional job opportunities

Maintain accurate documentation of calls, conversations, and outcomes

Follow up consistently with both individuals and employer contacts

Meet established outreach and activity goals

Ideal Candidate

Strong customer service and communication skills

Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone

Confident making outbound calls and initiating conversations

Energetic, positive, and professional

Strong relationship-building skills

Organized with good follow-up and documentation abilities

Recruiting, staffing, inside sales, call center, customer service, account management, or business development experience is a plus

Comfortable learning new systems and processes

Training Provided

Systems and documentation procedures

Call scripts and outreach techniques

Role-playing and call practice

Policies and procedures

Training on the types of positions and employment opportunities being supported
