to join our fast-paced Las Vegas team.

The Role
The Prep & Dock Manager is a critical position at ER Productions. What’s important is not only ensuring that the equipment delivers, the crew have to deliver too. People are the most important part of what we do.
You will lead prep operations to ensure every show is flawlessly resourced, prepared to the highest ER Standards, and compliant with safety guidelines. Additionally, you will directly mentor, manage, and empower our Interns and Trainee Show Technicians, helping shape the next generation of live events talent.
You will be working in a fast paced international business across multiple time zones at high profile festivals, shows and tours, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and
Key
Ensure every job has a assigned Prep Supervisor, runs on schedule, and meets strict ER Prep Guidelines.
Oversee that all gear is correctly assigned, scanned, and updated in our Resource Management System.
Guarantee equipment leaves the warehouse properly labelled, clean, fully functional, and ready for on-time delivery.
Oversee prep bay clear-downs and return extra kit to stock efficiently.
Line manage Interns and Trainee Show Technicians, overseeing their training program and ensuring employee lifecycle compliance.
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years working on-site as a touring tech with lasers and/or special effects, knowing what it takes to pull a live show together.
Strong understanding of DMX, ARTNET, data distribution, computer networks (IP addresses, servers), and show power distribution systems.
Proven track record in people management, crew leadership, and mentoring junior technicians.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to continually learn and adapt across international time zones.
