Work as a R&D Technician building self-driving technology – this includes vehicle build, sub-assembly, PCBA solder/rework, and harness build/assembly
Candidates must possess excellent documentation practices
Work closely with Hardware Engineering and associated teams
Follow safety standards and meet internal deadlines
Work with limited oversight
Required
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in harness fabrication using 1:1 form boards and various tooling in R&D and prototype spaces
Strong electrical skills, ability to read wiring schematics and layouts, redline drawings, and communicate with EDS design engineers
Strong background in electrical wiring, harness building, and surface-mount circuit board assembly
Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, microscope, etc.
Exceptional craftsmanship with the ability to pin out and quality test harnesses/circuit boards
Ability to problem-solve, diagnose, analyze and isolate problems rationally
Proficiency with Windows and Google productivity Suite – specifically Sheets
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Approach work with a proactive, capable, and willingness attitude to solve problems and support peers
Ability to multitask under pressure in an unstructured environment
