Schedule Notes:
Scheduled: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Candidate must be comfortable working one weekend (Saturday or Sunday). - 3 Years of outpatient coding and must have experience as Emergency room coder.
We are seeking experienced Certified Medical Coders with strong outpatient acute care coding experience for a remote contract opportunity.
Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding
Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes
Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines
Research and resolve coding-related issues
Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively
Required
CCS or RHIA, RHIT, CCP certification required
Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
High School Diploma or GED required
