Director of Finance

to serve as a key business partner to executive leadership while overseeing critical accounting, reporting, forecasting, and compliance functions.

Key

Responsibilities

Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, scenario modeling, and performance analysis.

Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams on pricing strategies, contract reviews, revenue forecasting, and business performance.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.

Maintain strong internal controls and support audit, compliance, and governance requirements.

Manage public sector and government-related invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual requirements.

Support state and federal reporting obligations in government-funded or publicly contracted environments.

Develop financial analyses and recommendations that improve operational and commercial performance.

Lead and mentor a lean finance team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Drive process enhancements and scalability initiatives across the finance function.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.

Strong background in financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions.

Demonstrated success supporting commercial or revenue-generating teams.

Experience with government, public sector, or highly regulated billing and invoicing environments.

Knowledge of state and federal reporting requirements.

Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus.

Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background

Healthcare, digital health, SaaS, technology-enabled services, behavioral health, or other regulated industries.

Multinational and/or publicly traded company experience.

Experience leading finance operations through periods of growth and transformation.

The hourly rate is $70.00 - $90.00 hr. Benefits available to contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
