Job Summary

We are looking for

Level I and Level II Cable Technicians

to support structured cabling and low-voltage projects. Technicians will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot voice and data cabling.

Key

Responsibilities

Install and terminate CAT3/CAT5 cabling, jacks, outlets, faceplates, patch panels, and 110/66 blocks.

Install racks, backboards, cross-connects, fiber hardware, grounding, and other telecom infrastructure.

Test and troubleshoot cabling for continuity, opens, shorts, crossed pairs, and other issues.

Identify active voice and data circuits.

Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.

Use standard cable installation, termination, and testing tools.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Level I: Entry-level to 6+ months of experience in structured cabling, low-voltage, telecommunications, electrical, construction, or a similar hands-on trade.

Level II: 2+ years of structured cabling or telecommunications experience, with the ability to work independently and help lead others.

Familiarity with cable installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting preferred.

Ability to travel as needed.

Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles:

Compensation

$20/hr to $31/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
