Basic experience with reading blueprints and interpreting specifications and/or technical publications.
Basic experience with basic hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools), as well as ability to use precision instruments.
Experience with precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions with tolerances up to .001.
Basic experience with locating holes from blueprints by hand layout, tooling jigs, engineering prints, and/or technology-based platforms.
Focus on Quality, Safety, Schedule and Cost
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as be a self-starter
Attention to detail
Interpret and learn blueprints and work instructions to accurately assemble components.
Utilize and learn precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions with tolerances up to .001.
Perform hand drilling and installation of aircraft-specific fasteners.
Complete part-fitting operations, including minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working.
Learn to drill close tolerance holes, measure parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions
Work with a team to meet production times and support Lockheed Aero Operations
May modify or repair assemblies to incorporate engineering changes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
